Jane has started using her imagination a lot more.

For example, she often reenacts nap time at day school. She will lay out a bunch of blankets, place her stuffed animals on them, cover them up, then whisper things like "shhhh, elmo. nap time. close eyes." Then later she exclaims "OK, everybody wake up!!"

Jane and Madelyn are really starting to interact. Hearing them laugh at each other is the best sound ever.

Of course with the good comes the bad. Today was our first family-of-4 bike ride. All in all they did great and enjoyed the ride but we did hear a lot of "NO BITTY...MY ELMO!!!" (Jane brought her Elmo doll along for the ride but Madelyn kept taking it)

The McCoys have had a rough couple weeks.

After two weeks of battling RSV and cutting her first two teeth, Madelyn is eating, SLEEPING, and smiling once again. This coincided with Patrick's business travel so Nami (now sometimes called "Nama") flew out to graciously offer support for Julia.

Jane got her first haircut. The lady trimmed a couple inches and then got all extra.

Instead of putting "ing" on the end of words, Jane puts "it." Here some things she says often.

Mommy, what do you doit?
Daddy workit?
I goit to day school (daycare).
That deerie (deer) is poopit.
Bitty (Madelyn) is sleepit.
