Jane didn't eat all day because her tooth was bothering her. That evening the McCoys went to a neighbor's party. Jane couldn't resist the soft pretzels, so Julia told her to just chew with her back teeth. One minute later a look of terror came over Jane's face. From across the room Julia knew right away that the tooth was a goner.
Before losing the tooth, Jane's adult tooth started growing in behind the baby tooth. Shark tooth.
