In other tooth-related news, Jane lost her first tooth!

Jane didn't eat all day because her tooth was bothering her. That evening the McCoys went to a neighbor's party. Jane couldn't resist the soft pretzels, so Julia told her to just chew with her back teeth. One minute later a look of terror came over Jane's face. From across the room Julia knew right away that the tooth was a goner. 

Before losing the tooth, Jane's adult tooth started growing in behind the baby tooth. Shark tooth.

There was a stray cat that lived around the McCoy house for a few days until they took it to the shelter to reunite with it's owner. Jane and Madelyn named it "Pretty." They LOVED that cat and here is a song they made up about the cat.
