After Santa walked in the door Madelyn jumped with joy screaming, "I'm not afraid of Santa anymore because he gives us presents!!"

Taking Madelyn to the zoo is very entertaining.

The last couple trips to the zoo have been great. Madelyn comes up with stories about each animal. She names them, decides if they are a boy/girl, and explains why they are sad/happy. Before leaving for this visit, she packed a bag of stuffed animals. When approaching a certain animal she would find it's "cousin" and wave it in front of the animal and explain that their cousin was here to see them.
