Madelyn started "vanastics" today.

She was bouncing off the walls with excitement all morning. She did great until she refused to get out of the foam pit. She wouldn't obey teachers or her Mom, so she might not be ready for vanastics.

Jane's new friend Joel.

Joel moved in next door. He comes over every morning and tries to break into the McCoy's house to see Jane. He told Jane,"If you sit with me on the bus, I will give you packs of gum everyday." One day Joel rode his bike by and Jane yelled,"Joel, I love you!" He finds her in the cafeteria at lunch and opens the containers in her lunchbox. He even asked Jane to spend the night. 

Patrick is not happy.

Damaging hail a couple weeks ago and floods this week.

Madelyn is going to eat her growing food so she can grow big and wiggle her baby teeth out.

With the help of a good swim school, the girls turned into little fish.

This was the first summer that felt more like fun and less like work. Jane and Madelyn even made the paper.
