Jane has developed a great imagination.

Julia's new favorite thing is to sit outside Jane's bedroom door and listen to her talk to herself at naptime or bedtime.  On this particular day Jane was carrying on so Julia tried to capture it on video.  Julia didn't want Jane to see her so she just placed her phone inside the door.  Jane sees the phone and has no idea what it is.

Madelyn singing "My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean."

Patrick sings this song to Jane all the time but instead of saying "Bonnie" he says "Hodgie" (Jane's nickname).  In her mind, Madelyn made a connection between ocean and lotion.  She is playing with the lotion singing about the ocean.  She has the best little voice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-MfquUaJB8

Jane Says

While doing Jane's hair one morning.....
Jane: "Mom, why am I so little?"
Julia: "Well, Mommy is little and Daddy is little.  We made you, so you are little like us."
Jane: "YOU didn't make me.  JESUS did!!!"

Jane Says

On the way to daycare... Jane: "Mom, why are we going this way." Julia: "We have to go a different way because there is a traffic jam on the interstate." Jane: "Like what is in between Bitty's toes?"

Jane Says....

Jane: "Mom, where is daddy." Julia: "He is working in New Mexico." Jane: "Like where we eat when you are too tired to cook?"

Bitty Styles

This Bitty has got a style all her own.  Whether she is rocking a helmet, sunglasses, 2 sunglasses, sunglasses on upside down, 1 hat, 2 hats, bucket hats, or her baby doll's pacifier, she's got mad style.

This is from March 31. Jane took her first official ski school lesson at Vail. It was a warm day so the snow was a little sticky.

What's new with the McCoy girls?

The McCoys aren't actively working on potty training but over the last couple weeks Madelyn has gone in the potty a few times. She started saying "I go poot in the potty. Poot in the potty." Soooo, Patrick and Julia started putting her on there and sure enough eventually she ended up peeing in the potty. Jane is getting really good at spelling and starting to read. She is also becoming a fast little runner and biker. She has great coordination and balance.
