Jane probably doesn't completely understand what is getting ready to happen but she knows the baby is coming.

Pregnancy #1: Julia was very puffy.
Pregnancy #2: Julia has a much better tan, that necklace is packed away in a box somewhere, and baby #2 will be bigger than Jane.

The McCoys didn't have a lot of big 4th of July plans, which was nice.

They went to the St.Louis Park pool. Jane was scared of the big water slides but Daddy took her down them anyways. It was OK because Grandpa was at the bottom to catch her.
They also went to Stillwater to visit friends, go to Teddy Bear park, and watch the fireworks on a bluff overlooking the river. Jane showed her fondness of the fireworks by clapping and asking for more.
