First Days of School 2013

Julia cried while at Target buying Jane's school supplies.

She cried at Kindergarten Orientation.

She cried at Kindergarten Open House.

Then of course she cried dropping Jane off at school on the first day.

Julia wrote Jane's bus number on her hand, her backpack, and in an email and a note to the teacher.

At the end of the day the bus was 6 minutes. Longest 6 minutes of Julia's life.

Madelyn's 3-year stats:

Height: 35.75" - 25th percentile
Weight: 27 lbs - 25th percentile
Vision: 20/20

August - Princess Madelyn turned 3!!

The princess party consisted of mani/pedis and then to the yogurt shop for sweet treats.

July - Patrick had some meetings in Vail so Julia, Jane, and Madelyn tagged along.

July - All the Smiths came to Colorado :)

Activities included a fun day at Breckenridge, Water World, hiking, pool time, and hot tub time.

The McCoys found a great spot by their house where they could watch all of the Denver metro area fireworks. Madelyn said, "They are mixing colors! Let me tell you something...it is so beautiful I can't even grab my popcorn!"

July - It took a year, but Madelyn finally potty trained. As a reward, she got to go to Chuckie Cheese.

While she was playing in the playhouse, Patrick noticed a stream of liquid flowing down the slide. Madelyn was at the top of the slide. "Check please!!"

June - Third stop on Midwest tour: Minneapolis

This trip was a treat because Autie Kelly, Uncle Barry, Miss Micki, Alan, and Michael were in town. Jane and Madelyn enjoyed visiting some of their old stomping grounds like the Lake Harriet trolley, Linden Hills park, and Sebastian Joe's (ice cream shop). Barry and Patrick did an excellent job competing in the Tri-loppet (Julia just tried to stay alive).

June - Second stop on Midwest tour: Chicago

Patrick had a meeting in Chicago, so the McCoys stayed downtown one night on the drive to Minneapolis.

After a long day of playing with cousins, Julia walked into the bedroom one night and found the girls like this on the floor. hashtag plumtuckeredout.

June - the Real McCoys did a Midwest tour. First stop: Indiana.

Mamaw took the grandkids for a princess horse carriage ride downtown Indianapolis. The girls enjoyed birthday celebrations and sleepovers with their cousins.
